Atocha or Chamartín to Corner28: arriving in Madrid by train
To reach Corner28 after arriving by train, first check whether your ticket ends at Madrid Puerta de Atocha-Almudena Grandes or Madrid Chamartín-Clara Campoamor. From either station, compare a taxi with Metro followed by a walk. Two Metro routes to consider are Atocha–Pacífico–Manuel Becerra and Chamartín–Nuevos Ministerios–Manuel Becerra, subject to services running at your arrival time.
Your destination is Calle de Sancho Dávila, 28, local 2 – L30, 28028 Madrid, in Fuente del Berro, within Salamanca district. You do not need to travel between the two mainline stations before heading to the apartment.

Before travelling: save the full station name
Check your outward and return tickets separately: they may use different stations. Save the train number, operator and any travel updates. When arranging a pickup, share the full station name; “arriving in Madrid” does not identify a meeting point.
The arrival time on your ticket is when the train is due, not when you will reach the street. Allow for collecting your bags, walking through the station and finding onward transport. For a pre-booked pickup, confirm the meeting point with your driver once you know which exit you will use.
From Atocha: a route via Pacífico
To compare a Metro journey with one change:
- Follow signs for Atocha Metro. The regional transport authority lists it as Atocha Renfe; Estación del Arte is a separate stop.
- Take line 1 towards Valdecarros to Pacífico.
- Change to line 6, choosing the side where Conde de Casal is the next stop, and leave at Manuel Becerra.
- Walk the final stretch to Sancho Dávila, 28.
Check the connections on the official line 1 page and line 6 route. This is a suggested route, not a promise that it is the fastest option or that every connection will run unchanged on your travel date.
Adif publishes updates on the redevelopment of the Atocha complex. Follow current signs and staff directions for Metro or taxis. An old photograph of the facade cannot tell you which exit to use during building work.
From Chamartín: change at Nuevos Ministerios
If your ticket says Chamartín-Clara Campoamor, one option to compare is:
- Inside the station, follow signs for Chamartín Metro.
- Take line 10 towards Puerta del Sur to Nuevos Ministerios.
- Change to line 6, with República Argentina as the next stop, and continue to Manuel Becerra.
- Walk from there to the apartment.
The transport authority’s line 10 page documents the connection. The official announcement about Chamartín’s new main concourse gives its opening date as 2 June 2026. Use the station’s current signs rather than relying on old access instructions.

Arriving at night? Check line 6 before setting off
When checked on 13 October 2026, the transport authority’s notice lists line 6 closing at 23:00 from Sunday to Thursday for automation works, with replacement buses SC1 and SC2. Check the official notice, times and stops for your travel date.
Both suggested routes use line 6. If your train arrives late, work out whether you can complete the change before closing; reaching the first Metro train is not enough. If you need a replacement bus, locate its street-level stop before leaving the station. Compare a taxi or another available route too, using the current transport updates.
The walk from Manuel Becerra, or a taxi from the station
Open the walking route from Manuel Becerra to Sancho Dávila, 28 and adjust the starting point to the exit you use. Look at this final stretch before choosing Metro: luggage, rain and mobility requirements may affect your decision. This guide does not confirm a step-free journey.
To reduce changes, follow the taxi signs at your arrival station and show the full address. Compare the cost for your whole group and confirm that the vehicle has room for your bags. Airport fares should not be applied to a journey from a railway station, and a fixed arrival time cannot be promised.

Coordinate check-in and prepare your return journey
Corner28’s published check-in time is from 16:00, Madrid time. Request confirmation in advance for earlier access. Do not assume you can leave bags at the apartment before then unless this has been agreed. If you want to make plans for the intervening hours, first decide where your luggage will be.
For the return journey, confirm the departure station and your train operator’s required boarding margin. Work backwards from that requirement, allowing for travel from the apartment and time to find your way inside the station. Confirm the apartment checkout time too; do not assume late checkout or luggage storage is included.
