Madrid-Barajas Airport to Corner28: your arrival guide

To reach Corner28 from Madrid-Barajas Airport, compare three options: a taxi to the property address, the Airport Express bus to O’Donnell followed by the final stretch through the city, or Metro with connections. Your terminal, arrival time and luggage matter as well as the fare.

Your destination is Calle de Sancho Dávila, 28, local 2 – L30, 28028 Madrid, in Fuente del Berro, within Salamanca district. Save the full address: searching only for “Salamanca” can take you to a different part of the district. The cover photograph shows the apartment entrance. Apartment photographs: Corner28 collection.

Choose transport for the whole journey

If your priority is…Start by comparing…Check before setting off
Avoiding changes with luggageA taxi from the official rankVehicle capacity, luggage space and applicable fare
Taking a bus from the airportAirport Express with an O’Donnell stopThe stop in use and the final route to Sancho Dávila
Using the Metro networkLine 8 and onward connectionsChanges, last services and any airport supplement

For a group of four, compare the combined cost and luggage space rather than a single passenger’s ticket. If you need to avoid steps, check both station access and the apartment entrance before choosing. Do not assume that the entire journey is step-free.

First, confirm where you will leave the airport

Check your flight’s terminal information and follow arrivals signs to the public exit. Plan the route once you know which terminal you will use for your onward transport. Landing time is not the time you will reach the stop: disembarkation, checks and baggage collection may still be ahead.

Aena’s official airport website provides terminal and transport information. Keep the property address available offline too, so you can find it without a data connection on arrival.

Taxi: a specific destination with fewer luggage transfers

At the airport, use the signposted taxi rank. Aena explains how to identify official taxis and check fares. Show the driver Corner28’s full address and confirm the applicable fare or price before starting the journey.

This may be the simplest option with several suitcases or if you prefer to avoid changes. It does not guarantee a fixed journey time: traffic matters. If you book a vehicle through an app or arrange a private transfer, check that service’s conditions and meeting point, which may differ from those at the taxi rank.

Airport Express: consider the O’Donnell stop

EMT’s Airport Express links the airport and Madrid with a 24-hour service. The daytime route is line 203; check the night service and its stops for your arrival time.

For Corner28, O’Donnell, by Doctor Esquerdo, is a stop worth comparing before travelling further to Cibeles or Atocha. Madrid’s official tourism page lists this stop and the route’s T1, T2 and T4 terminals.

There is still a final stretch to the apartment. Open the walking route from O’Donnell and Doctor Esquerdo to Sancho Dávila, 28 and assess it with your luggage in mind. Confirm exactly where the bus drops you off and adjust the map’s starting point. If you do not want to walk, compare the cost and availability of onward transport.

Check the current fare with EMT before boarding. Include any paid onward journey when comparing your total transport budget.

Metro: plan all the way to the apartment street

Line 8 connects Nuevos Ministerios and Aeropuerto T4, serving the T1-T2-T3 and T4 airport stations. Aena also explains the airport supplement for the tickets it applies to. Check the requirements for your chosen ticket.

Reaching Corner28 involves onward connections and a final walk. Enter Calle de Sancho Dávila, 28 as the complete destination in your journey planner, rather than stopping at a station name. Compare the routes offered for your travel date and time: a shorter estimate may mean more changes with suitcases.

For a late arrival, check the final connection as well as the first train. Catching the first service does not guarantee that you can complete every change. Keep an alternative by road in mind.

Match your transfer to apartment check-in

Corner28’s published check-in time is from 16:00, Madrid time. Arrival is by keypad self check-in; follow the private instructions for your booking. Request early access in advance and wait for confirmation. Do not plan your transfer on the assumption that you can drop bags at the apartment beforehand.
